Here is the process of the artist and some good tips:

TRIP TO THE VECTOR LAKE

This was my first collab with @bartification ! He sent me 6 pictures to edit and in the process of creation, this was the one that started to make my brain work!!!

I began to play with #mirrorgram and made a bunch of different images. Then in #photoforge2 I used some of the mirrorgrams with the filter tiny planet to make the circumference, made a spin radial blur to smoothen the image and levels to make the background white.

I openned the image in #poli (iPad only) and made the 2 images of polygons, one outline only and other with full color. In #idesign I created some circumferences and exported to png.

Finally I started to assemble everything in photoforge2. I started with the full color polygon image and placed some idesign circumferences on top, made some masking to past inside the original image. Duplicate the full color polygon, put it on top, and made a bunch of masks to create the center polygon sphere, it was really hard to do it! Then I used the outline polygon that gives a cool feeling to the image. For the second time I duplicated the full color polygon , put it on top, and mask it to have some effect in the outside circumference. I fixed some of the angles of the past inside images. At this stage the image started to look as I wanted but I felt that something was missing. The #ndpatterns solved my problem. I used the square doted image and masked it with a circumference, placed it below the center polygon.

I was happy with the result so I started the background. I made a new document and used a lot of dots and circumferences, that I created with tiny planet, and used the #decosketch to creat the lines. Used two of the mirrograms for the background and placed the lines and dots on top of if.

In #phonto I made our names and blend it in the image and placed the background.
The color edit was made with #lensflare , that gives a special touch to the image, and in #snapseed and photoforge2 to archive the correct color and environment.
My friend Bart name it.

Big congrats!!

Jonny is sharing a tip with #ampt_vectors one step that took him to achieve the beauty of this piece:

The main packhorse of this edit is the app Geodesic, were I produced the shape you can increase or decrease the points and faces to create whatever shape you want. Then add mextures to tone a give the shape texture. And then superimpose to layer on-top of original photo and to create shadow.

Thanks to @erratum and congrats!!
