A LITTLE HISTORY...

Photography has informed the best part of my life, however my discovery of iPhoneography or mobile art in mid 2010 proved to be a life changing experience.
Through a humble iPhone handset and a miracle app called Hipstamatic, iPhonehipsta... shooting from the hip, was born! And as a photographer, I was literally reborn.
My past undertakings had revealed a strong penchant for using out of date film and cross processing and solarising in the darkroom... Lomography, LensBaby et al...
But suddenly all this was available in one small pocket unit at the tips of my fingers, no questions asked!
The rules are the same, but the scope is infinite, there are no limits, total freedom. And as an added bonus, what used to be a lonesome pursuit has now been
transformed into this amazing hub of social activity where we are all busy sharing exchanging and meeting as part of a united worldwide community open to all.
My personal journey has also taken me onto the creation of mObilepixatiOn.com a community based project based in Europe which aims to encourage and promote mobile arts. We held our first exhibition last December in a central London gallery which was a great success and the first of many...
I am delighted to be involved with the AMPt evolution project and much looking forward to growing and sharing as part of this great community.
